Graveyard Information:
This is the site of St Matthew’s church, which was built in 1812. This church adjoins the site of an older church and graveyard, which date from the medieval period. The graveyard contains numerous graves dating from the mid- 1800s to the present day.
Directions:
Follow the N71 from Skibbereen to Ballydehob. About 6 kms from Skibbereen turn left after the Church Cross sign, following the townland sign for Goleen Marsh. The graveyard is at the end of this road.
